Nigeria’s ‘Mother Thereza’ Yeye Bola Dare dies at 48

Popular philanthropist Yeye Bolanle Dare widely referred to as Nigeria’s ‘Mother Thereza‘ for her charitable nature of caring for the poor and less-privileged, is dead.

She died at the National Hospital, Abuja, just over 24 hours ago of a suspected heart attack.

Over time, Yeye, 48, became popular owing to her charity work through her orphanage, Mother Thereza Children’s Home located at Gwarimpa, Abuja.

She had worked hand in hand with some first ladies in Nigeria in time past while bringing succour to the needy.

This was during the visit of the IMF chief last week…

During the recent 3-day visit of the Managing Director of  the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, she paid a visit to Yeye Bola Dare’s Mother Thereza Children’s home and had some good time with the deceased and orphans there.

Yeye was appointed as the Director of Strategy and Logistics of Goodluck Support Group (GSG). She was fondly tagged by many as the woman who can fix anything in the presidency.
