Visual of the Week: Super Eagles vice-captain Ogienyi Onazi waits by the corner to buy ‘akara’ somewhere in Jos

He is Super Eagles first-choice defensive midfielder as well as vice-captain and has got a telephatic understanding with Chelsea star midfielder John Mikel Obi in the middle of the pitch. Ogienyi Onazi plies his trade at Lazio FC in the Italian Serie A.

Famous for his commitment/passion on the pitch, humility and kindness; here, he shows his very humble nature by waiting (with his friends) at the corner to buy akara that was still being fried when he was back home for the Xmas break. Interestingly, he did share this pix on social media by himself with the caption: “That moment when the #Jos weather is too cold and you’ve got to book for your #Akara to step it down.”

Awww! How humble! He is not like most of his peers (other celebrities across all facets) who would rather send out maids, PAs, messengers to do stuffs like this for them and still come to “form” or “pretend” they don’t eat such.

Lol! 😀
