It happened slightly over two weeks ago, however, memories of it still lingers. People are still talking about it and remain angry.
Super Eagles gaffer Sunday Oliseh takes this one for his childish and insulting act recently. Oliseh had recorded a video at home through his blog and fixed it on Youtube in which he labelled his critics as ‘insane’ for criticizing his failure at the recently-concluded CHAN tournament in Rwanda where the home based Eagles crashed out in the first round.

Oliseh spared no one and particularly took a swipe at his fellow ex-internationals, some of whom are in the current Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) set-up as well as the Press where he made some sensitive allegations of attempted bribery which no one seems to wanna probe.
Oliseh, since taking over the Eagles, has been in the habit of making careless comments and even embarrassing his employers – NFF – in the process. Members of the NFF technical committee, right now, are so pissed with him and allegedly resigned because they felt Oliseh’s rant was treated with kid gloves by the football authorities. It took the intervention of the Minister of Youth & Sports to calm frayed nerves even though we understand that he has been fined by the football body.
The ex-Super Eagles captain should understand that criticism is part of the business, after all, he was so critical and vocal of his superiors and even unsavoury situations in his hey days in the team. Rather than name-calling and being rude to Nigerians, Oliseh should aim to answer his critics on the pitch (with impressive results) bearing in mind the crucial double-header AFCON qualifier against seven-time champions Egypt next month.
I’m a staunch Oliseh fan and even backed his employment back then (Click here: High five to NFF…) but in this case, he has goofed big time, he has messed up, therefore:-
THUMBS DOWN Mr Sunday Oliseh and you had better watch what comes outta your mouth, one more slip-up and you could be gone!!! 😦
