AC Milan’s Colombia striker Carlos Bacca, 30, Leicester’s Algeria winger Riyad Mahrez, 26, and Monaco’s French midfielder Thomas Lemar, 21, are on Arsene Wenger’s radar after the Frenchman pledged his future to Arsenal. Wenger will be given £100m to spend in the transfer window after agreeing a new two-year deal to stay at the Gunners. Meanwhile, the Gunners have agreed a £6.8m fee with Belgian club KAS Eupen for Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru with personal terms yet to be agreed. Onyekuru is currently on international duty with Nigeria, who are playing a friendly against Togo in Paris on Thursday. He was the joint top scorer in Belgium in the just-concluded season with 20 goals and Celtic had a bid for the 19-year-old turned down in January. He has also been watched by Everton, Southampton, Crystal Palace, West Brom and West Ham.


Man United are confident of keeping goalkeeper David De Gea at the club this summer despite renewed interest from Real Madrid. De Gea was close to moving to Real in the summer of 2015 and the Spanish club have been keeping tabs on him ever since. But sources say that De Gea is happy with life at United under the management of Jose Mourinho, and is happy to be part of a squad that will be playing in the Champions League next season.


Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has asked to leave the club after releasing a statement earlier on.


Marseille target, 27-year-old winger Moussa Sissoko, has urged his club Tottenham not to block a move away from White Hart Lane this summer. The midfielder joined Tottenham last summer from Newcastle but has found game time hard to come by under Mauricio Pochettino, with Marseille thought to be interested. Meanwhile, France manager Didier Deschamps has also reportedly told Sissoko that he needs more regular matches to be considered for the 2018 World Cup squad.


Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk, 25, is interested in joining Liverpool, who can offer the £50m-rated Netherlands player Champions League football next season.


Atletico Madrid and France striker Antoine Griezmann, 26, has told the club he wants to leave. He has an £87m release clause. It comes amid growing speculations that Man United are set to sign the French striker, and their pursuit looks to be edging closer with the latest reports.


PSG and France midfielder Blaise Matuidi, 30, says he “does not know” if he will be at the club next season, which is encouraging news for United, his long-time admirers.

The 24-year-old stopper started 15 games for the Ligue 1 giants last term, but believes he needs a new challenge and could rival Thibaut Courtois for the number one spot at Stamford Bridge.

PSG have announced that right-back Alec Georgen has signed a two-year contract extension until 2020. The 18-year-old played just three minutes of first team football this season, and a loan move to Le Harve was reportedly blocked last summer. But the youth academy graduate has now extended his stay at the Parc des Princes in hopes of getting more minutes next term.


Barcelona announced on Monday that Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has extended his stay at the club, with the goalkeeper officially putting pen to paper.


Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak insists there is no chance striker Sergio Aguero will be sold this summer. When asked if Aguero is staying, Al Mubarak said:

AC Milan have completed the signing of Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio. The 26-year-old Argentina international has signed a four-year deal to keep him at the San Siro until 2021. Musacchio joined Villarreal from River Plate in 2009 and scored seven goals in 187 La Liga appearances, captaining the Yellow Submarine last season.


Kylian Mbappe has admitted he used to dream about Zinedine Zidane amid speculation he could soon find himself playing under the French legend at Real Madrid. The 18-year-old has been strongly linked with a switch to Real Madrid and Man City, with L’Equipe reporting on Tuesday that both have submitted offers in the region of 120m Euros (£104m).  “The player made me dream, and still does when I see certain videos,” said Mbappe when asked about his fellow Frenchman.


AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella has renewed his contract until 2019, the club have announced. The former striker led the club to sixth place in Serie A this season, securing a place in the Europa League qualifiers. Montella joined AC Milan a year ago from Sampdoria, replacing Cristian Brocchi, who had been promoted from youth team coach on an interim basis following Sinisa Mihajlovic’s sacking.


Portugal centre-back Bruno Alves flew into Scotland earlier on for talks and a medical ahead of a possible move to Rangers.  The 35 year-old defender, who’s been capped 89 times and won Euro 2016 last summer, is currently with Italian side Cagliari. If he agrees a deal, he would become Pedro Caixinha’s first signing as Rangers manager.


Gareth Southgate has warned Man Utd striker Wayne Rooney he needs to be playing regular football next season if he wants to break back into the England squad.
